Retired railway worker victim of cyber fraud. In a few moments, 1 lakh 25 thousand rupees disappeared from his two accounts. The incident took place in the power house area of Bantara police station in Howrah.

The State Bank ATM card of Minti Sarkar, retired manager of Eastern Railway's Howrah division, will expire this month. This is what he was told on the phone. The fraudster called Minti Devi and told them that they need to provide some information to get a new ATM card. At the same time, another account of his ATM card will expire next year. A new card will be issued at the same time. Then some information is asked. After that an OTP comes on his phone. Saying that OTP almost makes the account empty.
