IVR & Dialer

Interactive Voice Response, or IVR, is an automated telephone system that combines pre-recorded messages or text-to-speech technology with a dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) interface to engage, provide information, and access callers. Allows live agents. The most common uses are automating inbound and outbound calls and call routing. In the latter case the IVR system eliminates the need for a switchboard operator to answer incoming calls. If you ever call a business phone number and are answered by an automated greeting, which contacts you with some pre-recorded message.
